交流站 郑寒月 拜读4月30日《联合早报·交流站》之《代步工具新条例应合理》一文,笔者想分享自己的看法与感受。
  笔者同意,凡事都有两面,有好有坏。一方面,允许个人代步工具在本地使用,使用者如何驾驭因人而异;另一方面,导致交通意外发生的因素很多,故要完全不发生意外,可谓天方夜谭。无论如何,我们应该竭尽所能避免意外,若不幸发生了,希望能把公路使用者的伤害减至最低。
  有鉴于此,代步工具使用者如电动踏板车骑士必须意识到,他们有责任确保其他公路使用者的安全,若因疏忽而对他人造成伤害,就必须面对相应的法律惩罚。同时,行人也有责任注意自己的安全,如果只顾着看手机而不幸被撞到,行人也必须为自己   (109 words)
